Improving education is a pillar of the NSDAR. Chapters across the county support their local school districts and schools while the Society as a whole provides assistance and/or other means of support to several schools through the nation. The Colonel Jonathan Bayard Smith Chapter, NSDAR, is deeply committed to fostering education and preserving American history within our community.
